Welcome to Plant Butter, a small, family-run, female-owned bakery based in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

Our journey began when we started eating more plant-focused and realized how hard it was to find desserts that truly satisfied our sweet tooth (without relying on dairy). So we did what felt natural, we got to work in the kitchen.

With over 15 years of experience in the food industry, our curiosity quickly turned into a passion project,  starting with our mobile coffee cart, Railside Roast Café, and eventually the bakery you see today.

At Plant Butter, we create baked goods that are comforting, flavour-forward, and made entirely from plants,  treats you don’t have to “settle” for.
