Welcome to Plant Butter! A local, female-owned bakery blending Jamaican-Filipino roots with familiar local favourites.​

Plant Butter began when we shifted toward a more plant-focused lifestyle and couldn’t find desserts that truly hit the spot. Instead of settling, we got to work in the kitchen.

With over 15 years of experience in the food industry, our curiosity quickly turned into a passion project,  starting with our mobile coffee cart, Railside Roast Café, and eventually the bakery you see today.

At Plant Butter, we create baked goods that are comforting, flavour-forward, and made entirely from plants,  treats you don’t have to “settle” for.
